Best Gifts for Travelers Lovers

With the holidays coming up, I thought I would create a list of the best gifts for travel lovers (whether you buy them for yourself or others 😉). This year has been hard for traveling but there are still ways to celebrate the joy of traveling. I love giving gifts and seeing the reactions of my loved ones when they receive them. If you’re stuck for inspiration for gifting someone who loves traveling or just need ideas for yourself here are my top picks!

Wall Maps

These are great because there is so much variety. You can get them of specific areas, like this one of the Appalachian Trail, or of the whole world. There are scratch off maps to keep track of where you’ve been or monochrome maps to match your room.

National Park Scratch Off

This one is fun because it’s a scratch off poster of all the national parks and helps keep track of where you’ve been. Each box has a super cute illustration of every national park. I have one for the greatest movies of all time. They are also super satisfying to scratch off.

Travel Games

There are plenty of magnetic and travel sized version of the traditional games we all love. These make great gifts since any long road trip or plane flight is made better by a game of monopoly. For any Queen’s Gambit fans, this magnetic chess set will satiate anyone’s sudden urge to learn chess.

Pocket Wine Aerator

I love that this is a thing! It’s only six inches and has three variable modes for whites, reds, and port wines. This unique gadget is awesome for on the go but also at home to elevate your wines and would make such a nice gift for any wine enthusiast!

Portable Safe

Traveling always means bringing along values like money and ID and safety is definitely a concern. Whether you’re traveling solo or with others, having a safe place to stash your gear is vital.

Dry Sacks

These are great if you or the person you’re gifting does a lot of water travel. They are light weight and come in a bunch of different sizes and colors. They have a roll top and can be clipped on to backpacks.

Homesick Candles

I love candles and these are especially great because you can tailor them to the person your giving them to, whether that be city, state, or country. Then when they travel, they can always bring a piece of home with them.

Tripod

I’ve mentioned this before but having a tripod for your iPhone or digital camera makes taking photos while traveling solo a lot easier.

Airbnb Gift Card

I didn’t even know Airbnb offered gift cards but now that I do, this is definitely on my list. You can use them on places to stay and experiences and added bonus you can send them virtually.

Skyroam

This one is super cool but because of the price point maybe a reward for yourself after a tough year. This is a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and power bank. You can also add a remote camera feature and smart assistant.
